Fat Art

There isn’t enough of it. It’s not an opinion, it’s a fact. Fat people don’t get to see themselves represented all that often in the media, but it’s even more rare for us to see ourselves in classic art mediums like paint, sculpture, digital art, etc.

I had the urge to find a new creative outlet and painting sounded like it would be fun. I decided to start with watercolors and the only thing I could think I wanted to paint was fat bodies. Specifically, fat women and nonbinary bodies.

So I delved in with some inexpensive paints, brushes, and paper pads. I quickly began upgrading to better paints and brushes, better paper. And then delved into digital art as well.

I’ve had volunteers send photos to use as inspiration and I’ve been inspired by what’s posted online via social media. There are so many beautiful fat bodies and I’m inspired by them ALL!

My particular niche tends to be naked or in lingerie. There’s a beauty in the vulnerability. The power. And I just can’t stop!

Take a tour and if you see something you like, most pieces are available for print, some originals are available as well. If you want to get an original custom piece, let me know! I want to help you see yourself in all your beauty!
